SEGA ha anunciado que la actualización del parche 4 para Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds ya está disponible.
El parche incluirá al personaje y el vehículo gratuitos de Classic Sonic, así como también competir como el Borrón Azul en su forma clásica de los 90. Más adelante, Axel de Crazy Taxi y Amigo de Samba de Amgio se sumarán como personajes gratuitos en agosto y septiembre, respectivamente.
Adicionalmente se han añadido más canciones al juego:
