xCloud, el servicio en la Nube de Xbox, cuenta con más de 300 juegos actualmente que son jugables desde consolas, PC o dispositivos móviles, con un listado de juegos de plataformas como Xbox Series, Xbox One, Xbox 360 y Xbox Original gracias a la retrocompatibilidad.
En la Nube, todos los progresos se mantienen por completo, ya sea si jugábamos en Xbox o PC, y más aún si el juego era compatible con progreso compartido por si jugamos fuera del ecosistema de Xbox. Las juegos incluidos en el catalogo de Game Pass de la Nube siempre serán las versiones de Xbox y nunca de PC.
Los requisitos no solo se limitan a contar con ciertos dispositivos, apps o conexión de red, también se requiere contar con un control de Xbox Series u Xbox One compatible con Bluetooth, aunque pueden usar alternativas como un Dualshock de PS4. Pueden usar otros mandos alternativas. Para más detalles visitar este enlace.
Los usuarios dispositivos Android ahora solo pueden contar con la opción de jugar mediante xbox.com/play para poder jugar mediante la Nube, ya que la aplicación dedicado de Game Pass dejó de ser compatible desde noviembre de 2024. Además de eso, se requiere tener el sistema operativo Android 6.0 o superior, así como una conexión de 10 megabits por segundo para jugar de forma decente.
En iOS, si contamos con el sistema 14.4 o superior deberemos usar el navegador Safari para acceder a Xbox.com/play e iniciar sesión para poder jugar mediante la Nube. Se requiere al menos una conexión de 10 Mbps o superior para iPhone, 20 Mbps o superior para iPad.
Mientras tanto en Windows como en consolas Xbox Series y One se necesita de unos 20 Mbps o superior. Incluso se recomiendan que la conexión sea mediante cable para una experiencia más estable. En PC se accederá mediante la aplicación de Xbox, desde la opción Cloud Gaming cuando este habilitada. En consolas, simplemente podremos iniciar los juegos que tengan el icono de la Nube correspondiente desde la sección de Xbox Game Pass.
En el caso de las Smart TV Samsung 2020 seleccionados, televisores inteligentes más nuevos y monitores Samsung 2022 y más recientes, así como una selección de pantallas de LG compatibles, la web de soporte oficial de Xbox
no ha hace demasiadas menciones a los requisitos de red concretos,
solamente la mención ya existente de otras plataformas que remarca que
el "mejor rendimiento se logrará a velocidades de 10 Mbps en
dispositivos
móviles, 20 Mbps en consolas, PC y tabletas, y conexión Wi-Fi o datos
móviles de 5 GHz", así que tomen como referencia esos datos por el
momento.
Actualmente
hay más de 300 juegos que tienen soporte de xCloud a nivel mundial,
aunque en Argentina no veremos algunos títulos como Dragon Age 2 para Xbox, PC o plataformas móviles. Los juegos gratuitos como Fortnite o Genshin Impact también están disponibles bajo la suscripción.
NOTA: Para no confundir a los lectores, esta lista solo incluye los juegos como parte de la suscripción Game Pass Ultimate y no todos los compatibles con la función Transmite tus Propios Juegos.
NOTA 2: La lista incluye una lista de juegos compatibles con xCloud para Game Pass Ultimate, Game Pass Premium y Game Pass Essential. Aconsejamos visitar la web de Xbox para saber que juegos del catalogo de Premium y Essential son compatibles con la Nube.
